My name is Emily. I’m an indie fantasy author, and I am very excited to share my journey with you. My debut book–Born of Fae–marked the beginning of my new adventure. 
Ever since I was younger, I’d always found myself immersed in the pages of books. My imagination has always been running wild alongside dragons, faeries, and other magic beings.
I first found my love for reading through The Worst Witch series, written by Jill Murphy: my dad would read a few pages with me each night.
After GCSEs, A-Levels and my degree got in the way, I had read as much, that was until ACOTAR (SJM). I think I’ve read every day since then!
Writing was always a lifelong passion of mine, whether it was homework at school, or just because I needed something to fill a notebook with. Seeing one of my stories come to life, being able to share it, and seeing/hearing that people have loved it is INSANE.

To all my fellow readers, I hope you get lost in the world I’ve created, just as I did whilst writing it. And to all those debating on whether they should write their book idea… WRITE IT!
